ClaimCam connector
Last updated 13 October 2026
- Connect ClaimCam to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client with the URL
https://claimcam.link/mcp. - Sign in to ClaimCam and press Allow. No tokens to copy.
- Then ask your assistant to create claim links, chase open claims and read the evidence back to you.
What it does
ClaimCam stops fake and recycled damage claims. For any order, you create a claim link and send it to the customer. They photograph the item live in their browser: the whole item, a close-up of the damage, and the packaging or label. They can't upload from their camera roll, and a one-time code appears in the shot. You get tamper-evident evidence: server timestamp, country, device, a SHA-256 hash for each photo, automatic tamper checks and an optional AI review of the photos.
The connector gives your AI assistant the same tools you have in the dashboard.
Before you connect
- A ClaimCam account. Sign up free: the free plan includes 5 claims a month.
- A store name. Customers see it on the camera page, and you need one before your first claim link. Set it in the dashboard, or ask your assistant to set it.
Setup
Claude
- Open Settings → Connectors and add a custom connector with the URL
https://claimcam.link/mcp. - Press Connect. Claude opens ClaimCam: log in and press Allow.
ChatGPT
- Turn on developer mode, then add an app with the URL
https://claimcam.link/mcp. - Log in to ClaimCam and press Allow.
Other MCP clients
The server speaks Streamable HTTP at https://claimcam.link/mcp and supports OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, so most clients just need the URL. If your client can't do OAuth, create an API key in the dashboard under Settings → AI assistants and send it as Authorization: Bearer <key>.
Tools
| Tool | What it does | Access |
|---|---|---|
create_claim_link | Creates a claim for an order (order number, optional item and private note) and returns the link to send the customer. Counts towards your monthly plan limit. | Write |
set_store_name | Sets the store name customers see on the camera page. | Write |
list_claims | Your claims, newest first, 20 per page, with status and the number of evidence flags. | Read |
get_claim | Full evidence for one claim: status, capture code, time, country, device, tamper checks, AI review and photo hashes. Can include the three photos. | Read |
search | Finds claims by order number, item or private note. | Read |
fetch | One claim's evidence as text, by id from search. | Read |
get_account | Store name, plan, and claims used this month. | Read |
No tool deletes anything, and none sends messages for you. You send the claim link to your customer yourself.
Example prompts
- "A customer says order #10482 arrived broken, a king linen duvet set. Make a claim link I can send them."
- "Has the customer on order #10482 sent their photos yet? Show me the evidence and flag anything suspicious."
- "Which claim links are still waiting for photos, and which submitted claims have flags I should look at?"
- "How many claims have I used this month?"
Permissions and data
- The connector only sees your own store's claims. Other stores' claims are invisible to it.
- Claim photos are deleted automatically 90 days after they're sent, along with the customer's IP address and device details. Purged claims still show their status and country.
- Your assistant receives the evidence it asks for, under that assistant's own data terms. ClaimCam stores nothing about your chats.
- Full details are in the Privacy Policy and Terms.
Disconnecting
In the ClaimCam dashboard, go to Settings → AI assistants and press Disconnect next to the app, or Revoke next to an API key. Access stops straight away. You can also remove the connector in your assistant's settings.
Limits
- Claim links count towards your plan: free 5 a month, Starter 50, Unlimited no limit.
- The server allows up to 120 requests a minute.
