Does ClaimCam prove a photo is real?
No. It's deterrence and evidence, not proof. A determined fraudster with a virtual camera can still try. ClaimCam makes faking far harder (live capture, a fresh code, three angles) and leaves a trail of time, country, device and fingerprints when someone does.
Will this annoy my honest customers?
It takes about a minute: open the link, write a short code, take three photos. No app, no account. Honest customers already send photos; this just changes where they take them.
Will it win my chargebacks?
We can't promise outcomes. The evidence page gives you timestamped, fingerprinted photos to submit, but your payment provider or marketplace decides the dispute. This isn't legal advice.
Do I need to install anything on Shopify, eBay or Amazon?

What do you store about my customers?
The photos plus what's stamped on them: server time, country (looked up from the IP address on our own server, never precise location), device type and the file fingerprint. Nothing from their camera roll, ever. Photos are deleted automatically 90 days after a claim.
